Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from
the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Provides for the appropriation
of funds to operate "Careers
for ME" to provide information
on careers in Maine through a
multimedia, publicly accessible
site on the Internet.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill appropriates $80,000 in fiscal year 2001-02 and
fiscal year 2002-03 to the Maine Technical College System to
maintain "Careers for ME," a multimedia Internet-based career
information site to help Maine people learn about careers in
Maine, how to prepare for those careers and where the jobs are.
