| | | Sec. 2. 21-A MRSA §682, sub-§4 is enacted to read: |

| | | 4.__Collection of signatures prohibited.__A person may not | | collect referendum signatures on election day. |
|
| | | This bill prohibits the collection of referendum signatures on | | the day of state elections. |
