This bill includes
ongoing General Fund appropriations of $25.0 million per year beginning in
fiscal year 2025-26 to the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) to establish
and administer the Maine Eviction Prevention Program created to provide
rental assistance to eligible individuals.
Additional costs to MSHA associated with the rulemaking process can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
